About Us

Steph is a Marquette County native and received her Cosmetology education from Northern Michigan University. Steph and Jess began working together back in  2008 and have continued ever since! Steph was a Salon Manager and advanced to be a trainer with the Regis Corporation. She currently owns Superior Salon & Spa in Marquette, where Fresh Coast Beauty is located! Steph is a hair and makeup for FCB in addition to running her own salon. 

Steph "Park," as we call her is originally from Marquette County. She received her Cosmetology Education at Northern Michigan University. Steph left working behind the chair to be a stay at home mom during the week, but specializes in wedding hairstyling on the weekends!

Laurel, originlly from Hudsonville, MI, received her Cosmetology education from Chic University of Cosmetology in Grand Rapids. She also received a degree in Geological Engineering from Michigan Technological University. Laurel left working behind the chair to be a stay at home mom to her boys, but does wedding hair on the weekends!

Shannon received her cosmetology education from Northern Michigan University, graduating in 2007. She works behind the chair at Salon 1281 in Laurium and is our go-to stylist for  Keweenaw events, especially Copper Harbor! Shannon also travels to Marquette and throughout the U.P. for weddings. 

PJ is originally from the Eastern UP, but now makes her home in Marquette County. She received her Cosmetology education from Northern Michigan University. You can find her behind the chair at Kate's Place in Marquette.

Jenn received her Cosmetology education from Renaissance Academy. She resides in Delta County and works behind the chair at Shear Envy in Harris. Jenn travels for weddings and covers the  southern UP. 

Sharon is a southern gal who came to Marquette to attend Northern Michigan University and stayed after graduation! Sharon is a skincare expert and a special effects makeup aficionado. Sharon is our primary Mua Assistant for our makeup artists for larger wedding parties.

Katelyn is a Marquette native and currently co-owns Meister's Farm. Katelyn received a business degree from Northern Michigan University. Katelyn previously worked in the cosmetic industry with Clinique and assists our makeup artists when she's not tending to her many farm animals. 

Bea is currently in high school and is heavily involved in theater, art, and music. She mostly works behind the scenes to prep for weddings and keep things running smoothly in the salon. She is training to be an MUA Assistant so you may see her on location soon!
